Bad Raven

LAST Christmas I was bought some multi-colour PLA.

Came from www.stronghold3d.com , called ColorThreadLLC "New Rainbow".  x000ujt4y7

Prints well, got a great sheen to it for spiral vases, really metallic looking, etc.

The issue for me is that the changes for what I'll print are too far apart down the filament length, so even a 170mm high x 150mm at widest vase only usually has one slight change, which is not the effect I wanted, and as a result, its been relatively little used.

It LOOKED OK in the ads but then I failed to take into account that on a 1kg reel there's a lot of filament across the reel as well as depth

Better ones available?

HobbyKing Fabrikator II Mini, 100x100x100. (a re-badged Malyan) - Modded with magnetic Flex Bed.
Original Prusa i3 Mk3 (All Black).
Anycubic Photon S  (Resin/UV).

I think we have all had the same issue with these types of filaments although the one I used from Amazon did seem a bit better than some ive seen, it helps if you can start a print half way through one of the colours  ~~

It would need to change colour at three times the frequency to make me even remotely interested. I might swallow hard and order if it were that.

I was looking at a reel of red/orange/yellow, but that is even worse for changes.
